GENERAL PRIZES & MEDALS

General Prizes are awarded to :
1. The best speaker, the best singer, the best actor, the best paper reader, the best debater.
2. Any other student who in the opinion of the principal made a notable contribution to the maintenance of discipline in the college or has done some commendable social service or has brought any distinctive honour for the college.



SPORTS PRIZES

All athletes who distinguish themselves (get 1st, 2nd or 3rd position) in various events at the college Annual Athletic Meet.

Vacations and holidays :

Nursing Students are eligible to have one month (30 days) leave annually. This is usually arranged according to the convenience of the hospital and the institution. Annual Vacations 30 days (P.A.) Medical Leave 10 days (P.A.) Preparatory Holidays 7 days (P.A.) Withdrawal/Dismissal

If any student decides to withdraw voluntarily from the college after the preliminary period or any time before completing the course, his/her deposited money will not be refunded. The Institute reserves the right to dismiss any student at any time whose work or conduct is found unsatisfactory during the period of training.

Award of Certificate (For Nursing Students)
As the course will be recognised by both the State Nursing council and Indian Nursing Council, a Degree/ Certificate, (Diploma) will be issued to a successful candidate. The students are eligible for Registration with Membership fee of student Nurses Association (S.N.A.)
1  Rs. 60/- per head per year to be paid as membership fee to T.N.A.I., New Delhi.
2  Rs. 25/- per head per year to be paid as membership fee to T.N.A.I. Punjab state branch.
3  Monthly membership of local S.N.A. as decided by S.N.A. adviser from time to time.
4  Membership for T.N.A.I. (Trained Nurses Association of India)
5  Rs. 1200/- to become T.N.A.I. member from S.N.A. member as life membership fee. the Nurses and Midwifery
Council of any state, in India. This will enable the nurses to practice as an 'A' Grade Registered Nurse and Midwife.

Working Hours :
During Winter      9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. (For Nursing Students)
During Summer    8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
For Law Students    9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.

Duty Hours (Nursing Students)
Duty will be allotted according to hours of practical in the clinical area.

Attendance :
All the students are required to be punctual on duty and in the classroom. They are not permitted to miss classes without genuine reason and without prior permission from the class teacher and the principal.

Uniform and Books The student will be required to wear approved uniform while on duty and in the classroom and hospital. The expenditure on uniform will be borne by the students.
